Your tales are usually interesting in some way or another but this one is just plain weird.
I can never remember anyone "resisting" my requests for water -Not that I probably asked for it much, because like most kids, I usually wanted some kind of sugar-packed luminous fizzy crap anyway.
I think a lot of us have to, "find our way back" to water as we grow up, but you appear to have never left it.
